This guide walks you through charging, zoning, controls, motion settings, and installation for your Infinity X1 Under-Cabinet Lights.
Important – Read This First
Your lights already come linked
The lights and remote come pre-linked from the factory. This means they are already able to communicate with each other and do not require pairing for basic use.
Zoning is different from linking.
Zoning determines which lights operate together when using the remote.
1. Charging Instructions (Start Here)
Charging the Lights
Use the included USB-C cable.
Plug the cable into the USB-C port on the side of each light.
Connect the other end to a USB power source (wall adapter not included).
Charging Indicator:
🔴 Red light – Charging
🟢 Green light – Fully charged
➡️ Fully charge all lights before first use.
Charging the Remote Control
Plug the USB-C cable into the remote.
Connect to a USB power source.
Remote Indicator:
🔴 Red – Charging
🟢 Green – Fully charged
2. Understanding Zones vs. Linking (Very Important)
Linked = The lights and remote can communicate (already done at the factory).
Zoned = Controls which lights operate together.
If you want multiple lights to turn on, dim, and respond together, you must zone them together.
3. If You Want All Lights to Operate Together (Zoning Them Together)
Step 1: Set the Zone on Each Light
On the back of each light, locate the Zone toggle switch:
OFF – Light will not respond to the remote
1 – Assigns the light to Zone 1
2 – Assigns the light to Zone 2
➡️ Set every light you want operating together to the same zone (1 or 2).
Step 2: Match the Zone on the Remote
On the remote, locate the Zone selector at the top:
ALL – Controls Zone 1 and Zone 2
1 – Controls Zone 1 only
2 – Controls Zone 2 only
➡️ Select the zone that matches the lights you want to control.
Step 3: Enable Remote Control on Each Light
On the back of each light, set:
REMOTE → ON
This allows the remote to control the light.
Example
-
Want all under-cabinet lights to operate together?
Set all lights to Zone 1
Set remote to Zone 1 or ALL
-
Want two areas controlled separately?
Assign one group to Zone 1
Assign the other group to Zone 2
Switch zones on the remote as needed
4. Light Controls & Modes (On the Light Itself)
All controls are located on the control panel on the back of each light.
Color Temperature Button (Top Left of the Control Panel)
The top-left button controls color temperature.
-
Press once to cycle through:
Warm light
Neutral light
Cool light
Each press changes the color temperature to the next setting.
Dimming Function (Same Top-Left Button)
Press and hold the top-left button to adjust brightness.
Holding the button will smoothly dim the light brighter or dimmer.
➡️ Release the button when the desired brightness is reached.
5. Motion Sensor Settings
The motion sensor only activates in darkness.
Motion Sensor Distance (Back of Light)
OFF – Motion sensor disabled
5 ft (1.5 m)
10 ft (3 m) (factory default)
20 ft (6 m)
➡️ Select the distance that best fits your space.
How it works:
Light turns on when motion is detected in the dark
Light turns off automatically after no motion is detected
6. Installation
Installing the Lights
Attach the metal plate to the back of the light.
Peel the backing from the 3M adhesive.
Press firmly onto a clean, smooth surface.
The light will magnetically attach to the plate.
Installing the Remote
Attach the round metal plate to the back of the remote.
Use the 3M adhesive to mount it near the lights.

These lights don’t stay charged for 60 minutes, much less 60 days! Worst batteries ever! They’re only bright if you have them plugged in. The motion feature is iffy at best, but mostly garbage. I’m returning these to Costco.
That is too bad to hear. I just got 3 charged and ready to mount, and was about to make the decision to buy 3 or 4 more sets for around the house for various projects. These seemed perfect for what I need them for. But, after reading this, I’m not so sure.
I wouldn’t buy these if I were you. Just my opinion
