If your Duracell Work Light isnโt turning on, charging, or functioning properly, follow these steps to identify and fix the issue.
๐ Step 1: Check the Power Source
USB-C Charging (For Rechargeable Models)
1๏ธโฃ Ensure you are using a USB-C charging cable and a 5V/1A adapter (not included).
2๏ธโฃ Plug the cable into the correct charging port (check the markings near the ports).
3๏ธโฃ Look for blue LED indicators near the charging port:
- ๐ต Blinking Lights = Charging
- ๐ต๐ต๐ต๐ต 4 Solid Lights = Fully charged
4๏ธโฃ If the work light doesnโt charge, try:
- A different USB-C cable or adapter
- A different power outlet
๐ Step 2: Check Power Lock Mode
If your work light wonโt turn on, it might be in Power Lock mode (also called โDemo Modeโ).
โ To disable Power Lock mode:
- Press and hold the power button for 5โ10 seconds until the light turns on.
If the light still doesnโt turn on, continue to the next steps.
๐ฆ Step 3: Check the Light Modes
Duracell Work Lights often have multiple brightness settings. If the light turns on but seems dim, try:
โ Pressing the power button multiple times to cycle through brightness modes.
โ Checking if the light is in low-power mode due to a low charge.
๐ Step 4: Inspect for Damage
๐น Check for loose battery contacts or damaged ports.
๐น Inspect the USB-C port for dirt or debris.
๐น Look for cracks or impact damage that may have affected the internal components.
โ Still Not Working?
๐น No charging lights? Try another USB-C cable & adapter.
๐น Work light won't turn on? Ensure the power button is functioning properly.
๐น Cycling through modes but no brightness change? Charge the battery and test again.
