If your Duracell Work Light isn’t turning on, charging, or functioning properly, follow these steps to identify and fix the issue.
🔋 Step 1: Check the Power Source
USB-C Charging (For Rechargeable Models)
1️⃣ Ensure you are using a USB-C charging cable and a 5V/1A adapter (not included).
2️⃣ Plug the cable into the correct charging port (check the markings near the ports).
3️⃣ Look for blue LED indicators near the charging port:
- 🔵 Blinking Lights = Charging
- 🔵🔵🔵🔵 4 Solid Lights = Fully charged
4️⃣ If the work light doesn’t charge, try:
- A different USB-C cable or adapter
- A different power outlet
🔒 Step 2: Check Power Lock Mode
If your work light won’t turn on, it might be in Power Lock mode (also called “Demo Mode”).
✔ To disable Power Lock mode:
- Press and hold the power button for 5–10 seconds until the light turns on.
If the light still doesn’t turn on, continue to the next steps.
🚦 Step 3: Check the Light Modes
Duracell Work Lights often have multiple brightness settings. If the light turns on but seems dim, try:
✔ Pressing the power button multiple times to cycle through brightness modes.
✔ Checking if the light is in low-power mode due to a low charge.
🛠 Step 4: Inspect for Damage
🔹 Check for loose battery contacts or damaged ports.
🔹 Inspect the USB-C port for dirt or debris.
🔹 Look for cracks or impact damage that may have affected the internal components.
❌ Still Not Working?
🔹 No charging lights? Try another USB-C cable & adapter.
🔹 Work light won't turn on? Ensure the power button is functioning properly.
🔹 Cycling through modes but no brightness change? Charge the battery and test again.
